• Young Innovators Hawaii, Inspiring Students to Dream Big

    We’re thrilled to invite you to join us for Young Innovators Hawaii 2025, an inspiring Project Reach Hawaii initiative that empowers Kohala’s young minds through entrepreneurship, innovation, and self-empowerment. Following last year’s incredible success—where Kohala Middle School students launched creative business ideas and community projects tackling real-world challenges—we’re ready to elevate this program in 2025 with your help.

    Right now, students are working on developing businesses in the classroom. A panel of seasoned business professionals will review all of the projects put forth by students and narrow them down to the top five based on their business plans and viability. The select businesses will present at the “live show” event in front of the panel of mentors.

    The mentors will be comprised of entrepreneurs and respected business leaders from various sectors in order to provide a diverse background to the live show stage. They will ask questions to determine which of the business plans are the most viable. The winning business will receive mentorship from the sharks, as well as a cash prize. Prizes will also be given to businesses that place second and third place.

    Not only will students meet education requirements and gain hands-on experience, but they will also have the opportunity to work with mentors and resources to bring their ideas to fully functioning businesses.
