Ross Wilson named 2024 Christmas Grand Marshall

Our own Ross Wilson Jr. has been named the 2024 Christmas Grand Marshall.  Ross is and active Chamber member and the Economic Development Committee Committee Chair

Hilo native Ross Wilson Jr. worked a summer in Kona in the mid-1970s and loved it. He moved permanently to Kona in 1980. Active in community affairs, Ross is the Executive Director for the Kailua Village Business Improvement District.

The mission of the Kailua Village Business Improvement District is to create a model sustainable community that is a better place to invest, work, live and of course, play.

The District works cooperatively with the County of Hawaii to improve and maintain the physical appearance and aesthetics of public areas, open spaces and parks by increasing the cleanliness and security in Historic Kailua Village.

The Kailua Village Business Improvement District encourages everyone to shop small, buy local and enjoy Kailua Kalikimaka.
