    PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Road Closure for Lantern Parade

     

    To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, Alii Drive in Kailua Village from Kaahumanu Place to Hualalai will be temporarily closed for the annual Kona Coffee Lantern Parade on Friday, November 1 starting at 5:30. Road will reopen at 7:00 pm.

     

    Please plan accordingly and use alternate routes during the event.

     

    Detours will be in place and traffic will be re-routed to Kuakini Highway. Please follow all posted signs and directions from law enforcement officials. 

     

    We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage residents and visitors to plan their travel accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation as we celebrate this special

     

    Reminder: Please come early to enjoy the festivities and stay for the Cultural Program to follow at Hale Halawai.
