Meet Chef Gustavo
Drawing inspiration from his coastal hometown of Ensenada, Mexico, and the vibrant spirit of Napa Valley, Chef Gustavo celebrates the best of both worlds through his seasonally driven menu at Picobar. Discover his signature dishes, like the whipped avocado and his famous fish tacos, and see why Forbes praises his “boundary-pushing creativity” and his cooking for being “vibrant, exciting and alive.”

Picobar is a vibrant, full-service restaurant located at our sister property Solage, with unforgettable, contemporary Mexican cuisine by Executive Chef Gustavo Rios. In celebration of the new Mauna Lani Beach Club, Chef has designed an oceanfront menu that playfully exhibits a fusion of his coastal home of Ensenada, Mexico with Hawai’i Island’s seasonal ingredients.
