OHANA FUELS CONTRIBUTES TO HAWAI‘I ISLAND UNITED WAY’S ANNUAL CAMPAIGN TO HELP BUILD HEALTHIER HAWAI‘I ISLAND COMMUNITIES

[Hilo, Hawaii] – A generous donation of $5940.12 was presented to Hawai‘i Island United Way by Joy Madriaga of Hawaii Petroleum on November 17,2023, through the Ohana Fuels "Fuel Up. Do Good" charitable program. The partnership between Ohana Fuels and Hawai‘i Island United Way is an inspiring example of how corporate social responsibility can positively impact people's lives.

From July through September of 2023, a portion of all sales made at Ohana Fuels outlets on Hawaii Island was given to Hawai‘i Island United Way. The donation will be used to support our 36 partner agency programs serving the community of Hawaii Island. This means that the Hawaii Island community is getting much-needed health, education, and income support. HIUW's President and Chief Professional Officer, Karen Davis, shared the following statement, “we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who participated in the "Fuel Up. Do Good" initiative. Your kindness and generosity will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of many in your neighborhood and community. We want to express our sincere gratitude to Ohana Fuels and Hawaii Petroleum for their generous donation that will enable us to continue our mission of serving our community"
