    Kona-Kohala Chamber Welcomes Crowd to Building & Design Home Expo
    Six businesses tapped for exceptional industry displays

    KEAUHOU-KONA, HAWAIʻI—Island residents flocked to the 18th Annual Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce Living & Design Home Expo February 22-23 to see the latest in home improvement services and products. Held at the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa’s Kaleiopapa Convention Center, the free weekend event featured 34 local business exhibitors conveniently located under one roof.

    “Each year, we are proud to host the Living & Design Home Expo. The event provides residents and visitors with an opportunity to meet face-to-face with local and national experts on everything for the home—inside and out,” says Wendy Laros, President & CEO of the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce. “Attendees leave the event engaged with inspiration and information to tackle their next home project.”

    Six businesses were tapped for exceptional display booths with Honsador Lumber named Best In Show. Coldwell Banker Island Properties took Best Creative Design while Mason Termite & Pest Control earned Chamberʻs Choice. Attendees voted for their favorites in the Peopleʻs Choice competition with Hawaiʻi Community Federal Credit Union winning 1st, Hawaiʻi Spas & Outdoor placing 2nd and ProVision Solar taking 3rd.

    Additional exhibitors included American Sleep Therapy, Island Cooling LLC, Conreyʻs Appliance Service, ALTRES, Hawaiian Solar, Simpson Strong-Tie Co., WindsorONE, Painpod USA, Sunspear Energy, Concrete Technology of Hawaiʻi Inc. and Moana Crystals and Beauty.

    Also displaying their products and services to design, build, remodel and decorate were Coastal Windows, Sunrun, Microcom, Cutco, ECO Foam Hawaiʻi, Renewable Energy Services, HFS Federal Credit Union, West Hawaiʻi Today, eMortage, Hamajang Studio, US Floor Masters LLC/Wisteria Lane, Hawaiʻi Boat Clubs LLC, Rocket Mortgage, Big Island Custom Services, CU Hawaiʻi Federal Credit Union, Rock Solid Home Inspections and Alexandre Hawaiʻi Gallery.

    Participating businesses commented they made sales and generated leads while introducing themselves to prospective customers and re-connecting with past clients in a targeted and friendly community environment.
