Launch of the Kona Aloha Singers Youth Chorus

Kona Aloha Singers is excited to announce the launch of the Kona Aloha Singers youth chorus!

If you have a child who loves to sing, bring them with you to meet our Youth Chorus director Erin Deskin during open house on Tuesday, August 27th. Let's get your keiki ready for a great year of singing with our brand new KAS Youth Chorus, the only youth chorus in Kona!

Time: 3:30-5:00 pm
Weekly Rehearsal: Tuesdays, 3:30 pm
Cost: $75 per semester
Show: The Youth Chorus will sing during the Kona Aloha Singers performance at the Aloha Theatre on Sunday, December 8th at 2:30 pm.
Ages: 1st - 8th grades
Music: Contemporary Pop/Rock/Hawaiian
 

Why is singing important for our keiki? It can help our children build self-confidence and self esteem, promote social inclusion and support social skill development. Plus it is fun! The High School/Adult Chorus begins Open House/Rehearsal on August 20th at Kealakehe Intermediate School lower parking lot band room. Doors open at 5 pm. Rehearsal begins at 6 pm. Cost: $150 per semester The Kona Aloha Singers will be performing at the Aloha Theatre on Sunday December 8th at 2:30 pm.

August 20 - Open House/Rehearsal for the Kona Aloha Singers high school/adult chorus. Rehearsals continue each Tuesday at 6 pm.

August 27 - Open House for the Kona Aloha Singers Youth Chorus for 1st-8th grades.

September 3 - First rehearsal for the Kona Aloha Singers Youth Chorus
