    Friends and family are invited to celebrate Kamehameha Day

    Kailua-Kona, HI (May 26, 2022) –Keauhou Shopping Center is bringing together Kailua-Kona friends and family to celebrate the season of aloha with two exciting events on Saturday, June 11th, 2022:

    Kamehameha Day Celebration with Female Falsetto Champion
    Keauhou Shopping Center will host Lahela Lee Park, Hawai`i’s first female falsetto champion. Enjoy Hawaiian music from 10 am to 12 pm in the parking lot facing Ali`i Drive near Longs/CVS. Free and open to the public. Join us after the Kamehameha Day parade. Lee Park of Hāna was named the first-ever winner of the inaugural Carmen Hulu Lindsey Leo Ha`iha`i Falsetto Contest on April 16 in Kapalua. “Keauhou Shopping Center is excited to welcome Ms. Lee Park to our stage. Celebrating our culture and our history with our community is very important. Please join us on this day after the parade for an amazing day,” said Colene DeMello, General Manager at the center.

    KidX STEM Is Sweet
    Kick-off summer break with the keiki by attending KidX STEM Is Sweet. KidX will be the same day and time as our Kamehameha Day celebration. STEM activity stations will be set up next to the stage. This interactive event is sure to help kids eXcel by getting them excited about science, technology, engineering and math. In addition to our already rigorous cleaning practices, guests will also find hand sanitization stations located throughout the town center.
