• HFS FCU High School Scholarship Program

    Scholarships Now Available!

    We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2022 HFS FCU Scholarship Program! There are seven (7) scholarships, each worth $2,500, available for graduating Big Island high school seniors to use towards their 2022-2023 academic year. Applications this year can be filled out exclusively online through our new application portal! You can easily begin your application, save it, and return to complete it when you are ready. You’ll also be able to send requests for letters of recommendation through the portal, where they can be uploaded directly by your reference.

    In order to apply, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
    • Current HFS FCU member with his/her own account in good standing prior to the application deadline
    • Graduating Big Island high school senior
    • Will attend an accredited 2 or 4 year Vocational-Technical School, College, or University in 2022-2023 as a full-time student (12+ credits)
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
