• Career Day at Kealakehe Intermediate School

    January 08, 2024

On March 25, 2024, Monday, there will be a Career Day at Kealakehe Intermediate School. We would like you to come and participate in running a booth featuring your career path and what you do in your career. If interested, please fill out this form: bit.ly/KISCareerFair24

The purpose of the event is to expose haumāna to careers, jobs, and services in our kaiāulu to inspire them to think about how they see themselves as part of our larger community. Our haumāna will also be able to connect with a career (s) that might help them design their learning pathway.

For your part in this, we would like you to run a booth about your career. At your booth, you will be bringing your own personal supplies if needed. You can give a brief introduction about yourself and what you contribute to your career. Give a job description of what you do, skills that are required, descriptions on how to get the job, and the pathway of your career. Also, if you would like to engage with the haumāna, you may have a short activity planned that can help better understand what you do.

The session times for this event are:

    10:20 am-11:40 am

    11:40 am-1:40 pm

    1:40 pm-2:40 pm

You can pick anytime that would work best for you. It can be the whole day, certain time blocks. Up to you. If you would like to sign up to volunteer for this event, please fill out the form bit.ly/KISCareerFair24 .  If there are any questions about this event, please contact our Student Activities Coordinator, Ronda Barker ronda.barker@k12.hi.us, our PCNC, Randal Smith randal.smith@k12.hi.us, or our Community Coordinator, Shonnalee Ontiveros shonnalee_gaud.ontiveros@k12.hi.us .
