The 13th Annual Hawai‘i Island Living + Design Show filled the Sheraton’s Kaleiopapa Convention Center February 17-18, engaging the community with new home improvement products and services.

Attendees of the show entered to win a two-night stay at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay.

Holding the winning entry was attendee Gloria Woodwell, a registered nurse from Kealakekua. Upon hearing the news of her win, she said, “Wow, I’ve never won anything like this before. This is so exciting! The show was excellent, very informative and had a friendly atmosphere.”

Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Wendy Laros met Woodwell and gave her the winning certificate. “It was a pleasure to meet Gloria,” said Laros. “As such a hard-working member of our community, I hope that she will enjoy some rest and relaxation at the Sheraton. She is a wonderful example of the community that we hope to serve each year with the Hawai‘i Island Living + Design Show.”

Next year’s show is sure to be another success, with another chance to win a great prize.
